The “Blue Sapphire” automatic chronograph is more than just a simple timepiece. It is one of the most elegant watches in the Avantgarde collection. First and foremost, it attracts attention with its striking design. The dial is dominated by the large numbers 60, 40 and 20 as well as the two “eyes” that serve as the seconds and minutes counters for the stop function.
The highlight of this model, however, is the specially coated sapphire crystal, which appears bluish at first glance. In fact, it is not just blue; a complicated process gives the sapphire crystal a special coating that creates an unusual play of colors. It can appear greenish, reddish or bluish in different positions, depending on how you hold the watch.
This chronograph is truly a highlight, also in terms of its quality. The brushed case with polished bezel and sapphire crystal case back enclose a refined and hand-engraved rotor with blued screws and 49 jewels.
A calfskin strap in blue with an engraved solid stainless steel pin buckle rounds off this beautiful watch.
