Byzantium – a fascinating history.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sometime around the year 660 BC, the Doric Greeks founded a colony called Byzantium on the European shore of the Bosphorus.<\/p>\n

From here began the history of this fascinating capital, which today is the only metropolis in the world that unites the European and Asian continents.<\/p>\n

Today it is known as Istanbul, combining the Greek and Roman heritage, the display of Ottoman splendor, where much valuable jewelry made in the Arab tradition is preserved.<\/p>\n

The model “Byzantium” is a magnificent automatic watch in honor of the turbulent and fascinating history of the city of Istanbul and picks up this great diversity.<\/p>\n

The ornaments gathered from Arabic calligraphy present themselves in a new interpretation. The dial is divided into four sectors, surrounded by a meander – a motif from the art of ancient Greece. In the center there is a cross, which recalls the earlier Christian history of this modern metropolis.<\/p>\n
