A Tribute to Wassily Kandinsky<\/strong><\/p>\n

The “Kandy Orange” model is a tribute to the most famous Russian avant-gardist Wassily Kandinsky. His extraordinary artistic intelligence and his keen sense of colors and shapes inspired this unique design. Kandinsky attributed deeper meanings and associations to colors\u2014he described blue as “soft” and “aromatic,” while yellow was “sharp” and “piercing” to him. He imagined red as a square.<\/p>\n

Alexander Shorokhov incorporates these shapes and colors in this limited edition. The square dials are three-dimensionally guilloch\u00e9, and the case back features four round glasses in the dominant colors of avant-garde art: red, blue, and yellow.<\/p>\n

The case is modern and angular, with rounded corners and three milled recesses on the sides. The hands and hour markers are kept classic and clean to emphasize the “edgy” look. The typical large numbers 60, 20, and 40 also find their usual place.<\/p>\n
