M.I.K.E.
Time is the one thing that all people share. It cannot be multiplied, reclaimed or bargained for – but it can be given as a gift. When you devote time to someone else, you are giving them the most precious thing you possess. This idea carries with it a quiet responsibility: time is not just something we measure, but something we invest. In ourselves, in others, in what endures. It is in this context that M.I.K.E. came into being. The name traces its origins via ‘Michael’ and its Russian short form ‘Mischa’ back to the bear.
A symbol of strength, warmth and protection that only becomes apparent on the dial at second glance. The same bear represents the Biker Charity Run Süd, which raises funds for children with rheumatic conditions. Depending on the sales channel – whether through specialist retailers or our online shop – between 250 and 500 euros from every watch sold goes to the Garmisch-Partenkirchen Children’s Rheumatology Hospital. In this way, a timepiece becomes more than just an instrument – it becomes ‘a bear on a mission’.

The idea
A character
on the wrist
The name “Mike” is more than a label. It derives from “Michael” and its Russian short form “Misha” – which also means “bear”. That very symbol is hidden in the design: a bear that does not announce itself, but reveals itself only at second glance.
Fine guilloché work and relief structures, small coloured eyes and a subtle cut-out for the mouth in the upper subdial bring the bear to life – entirely in keeping with the playful, intellectual design language of Alexander Shorokhoff.
The movement
Jumping hour,
marked by a bold “H”
Inside beats the mechanical Dubois Dépraz 14400A automatic movement with jumping hour – a complication that deliberately reinterprets the flow of time. The hours do not glide; they advance in distinct jumps.
A bold “H” in the upper subdial reinforces the graphic architecture of the display. The seconds appear in the lower subdial with large, colourful numerals in the signature AS style. The rotor is engraved and finished by hand in Alzenau.

The emblem of Biker Charity Run Süd is a bear as well – a symbol of solidarity and readiness to help. The initiative raises donations for children living with rheumatism.
