Alexander Shorokhov’s innovative ideas come to the fore when preparing the dials for the beautiful “Camomile” model. He combines various technologies such as hand engraving, laser engraving and enameling by hand to achieve a fascinating 3D result. The contours and positions of the flowers, the logo and the indexes (hour markers) are first marked with the laser and slightly deepened. All the details of the flowers are then finely engraved by hand and matted in the lower area. Once this work has been completed, the enamel is also applied individually by hand in different colors. The surface of the dial is further refined by subsequent rhodium plating and gold plating. Only the indexes are then applied, and the dial shines in the perfectly shaped and inimitable “Alexander Shorokhoff” style.

Only a few companies in the industry have mastered this complex technology. Alexander Shorokhov has developed them in recent years to combine the traditional art of hand engraving with modern colors.

The automatic movement of this model is hand-engraved and finished, including a hand-engraved and finished inlay ring on the back of the case.

State-of-the-art technology is also used for the stainless steel housing. It is milled in three parts on CNC machines. The bezel and back are finely polished and the middle section is brushed. To avoid damaging the housing feet during brushing, only the recesses provided for this purpose are drilled first. Later, the feet are inserted and cold-welded.
