In addition to many extraordinary models, a truly avant-garde model must not be missing from the UNIQUEO collection.
For this, Alexander Shorokhov has thought up and created something very special.
In the new model “AS.UNIQUEO.25 – UNIQUE AVANTGARDE 4“, he combines avant-garde design elements, as well as avant-garde letters with nostalgic, traditional guilloché in the center. At first glance, this seems unusual. However, it blends well with the overall look of the watch. It creates a harmonious feeling that does not make the dial look too cluttered.
The colors are as usual for many avant-garde models of “Alexander Shorokhoff”: orange, yellow, green and a soft blue represented by mother-of-pearl. The elements and letters are slightly raised, which is achieved by etching the lower surface. The pattern is printed on mother-of-pearl. The dial includes other avant-garde elements such as a check pattern at 3 o’clock and a “spiral” in red at 9 o’clock. The Alexander Shorokhoff logo is located in the center of the circle in the checkered area at 3 o’clock.
The minute scale is located on the outer scale of the guilloché, giving more space to the avant-garde display. As a result, the watch appears slightly larger than it is, with a diameter of 43.5 millimeters. The hour and minute hands are made in the popular “Alexander Shorokhoff shape” and are plated in brown. The date is visible in a window at 6 o’clock in a minimalist version.
Inside the watch hides the hand-wound 3105.AS movement, which can be seen through the sapphire crystal caseback. The movement is intricately decorated with small curved hand engravings and then finished with a rose gold coating. The screws are hand-polished and hand-blued, and the wheels are cloud-ground. In addition to the avant-garde overall look of this model, the case is also very special. It is made of stainless steel, is rose gold plated, has a sapphire crystal case back and is water resistant up to 5 atm.
With a limited edition of only 1 piece, this exceptional model is again a unique one-of-a-kind, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the manufacture.
